Consulting experience

 

Using diverse ecological insights and skills developed during my career as a researcher, I have undertaken private consulting for wildlife reserves to improve their wildlife management strategies. Specifically, this has focused on using advanced scientific methods - combining field measurements and remote sensing - to generate robust data for use in practical applications, including: 

  • Wildlife abundance and stocking densities

  • Species demography (e.g., age and sex profiles) 

  • Animal space use and movement patterns

  • Animal nutrition and body condition

  • Changes in forage quality and quantity

  • Predator-prey dynamics
